Public prosecutor's office of Dagestan: the missing local residents were killed in a special operation

Two residents of Nogai district of Dagestan who had left home and were searched for by the police upon their parents' requests were identified among members of armed underground killed in a special operation in Kizliyar district, Public prosecutor's office reported.

It should be reminded that on March, 19, resident of the settlement of Terekli-Mektab, Nogai district, Fatima Ametova appealed to human rights organization "Mothers of Dagestan for Human Rights". She reported that on March, 5, her son Ali Ametov born in 1984 and his relative Alan Apendiev born in 1989 went out to the mosque for evening namaz and did not come back.

The personnel of Public prosecutor's office of Dagestan verified the facts reported by the "Caucasian Knot" on March, 21. The office confirmed that on March, 7, residents of the settlement of Terekli-Mektab, Nogai district, appealed to standby unit of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia in Nogai district reporting disappearance of the above mentioned citizens.

According to Public prosecutor's office, Ali Ametov and Alan Apendiev were identified among the seven participants of a paramilitary group killed in a special operation near the settlement of Tsvetkovka, Kizliyar district.
