Six persons run for the post of City Manager of Elista

On June 9, the Contest Commission for the election of Elista Mayor (City Manager) considered applications of six candidates and ruled that all of them are eligible, the press service of the Mayoralty of Elista, the capital of Kalmykia, reports.

The list of applicants includes Arthur Dordjiev, the acting head of the Mayoralty of Elista; Sergey Tadonov, the former chairman of the Elista City Assembly (ESA); Sangadji Alekseev, Director General of the LLC "Volgavodstroy"; Oksana Baglieva, the deputy head of the Mayoralty; Iraida Korneeva, Deputy Director of the Municipal Enterprise "Energoservice"; and Valery Badmaev, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Modern Kalmykia".

All the six candidates will be submitted to the Elista City Assembly (ECA), which will decide who should occupy the post of the Mayor of the city of Elista. The date of the session of the ECA is not reported yet.
