Director General of "Rostov" FC resigns after fans' rally

Director General of the "Rostov" Football Club (FC) resigned after the rally of the fans, who demanded from the leadership of the Rostov Region to terminate the contract with Yuri Belous.

"The Belous' resignation application was accepted by the president of the club. In the evening on June 8, Yuri Belous made an official statement, in which he wished good luck to the football club," says the press service of the FC.

"Years of hard work are behind; and I hope that the club will continue its development and proudly represent Rostov-on-Don in the elite of the national football. I am grateful to all those who worked with us in the past year. Thanks to the fans, who supported us in hard times," the press service of the "Rostov" FC quoted Yury Belous' statement.

The official website of the FC gives comments on the statement made by the club fans. "Hurrah, thanks to all those who heard the fans' opinion," wrote the fan under the nickname markus61.

However, some fans have treated the information about Belous' resignation differently. "Why have they done it? Yury, thank you for everything!" wrote BRAWN.
