In Rostov Region, Chief of Volgodonsk Court Marshals arrested

In the Rostov Region, the head of the Volgodonsk City Division of Court Marshals and his assistant detained, and they are suspected of taking bribes.

Investigatory agencies of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in the Rostov Region instituted a criminal case against the head of the Volgodonsk City Division of Court Marshals, the senior bailiff of the Department of the Federal Service of Court Marshals in the Rostov Region, and the bailiff on ensuring the established order of the court performance of the same division, on elements of crime under Paragraph "a" of Part 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking a bribe by a group of persons by previous concert).

According to investigators, for a bribe of 50,000 roubles, the defendants offered suspending the enforcement proceedings and removing time restrictions from the individual entrepreneur, who intended to go abroad and who was to pay to legal entity 981,000 roubles by the court decision.

Representatives of the debtor appealed to the law enforcement agencies. On June 9, 2012, after receipt of money, the senior bailiff was detained by investigator of the ICRF and FSB officers in the act, the money has been withdrawn, the ICRF's website reports.

At present, the investigation into the criminal case is underway. At the request of investigators, the pre-trial restriction against the defendants was defined in the form of keeping in custody, the "Rosbalt" reports.
