FSB hunts for Chechen bards' songs
FSB (Federal Security Service) officers wage a fierce struggle against songs by Chechen singers in Ingushetia. It is prohibited to sale cassettes with songs by Timur Mutsurayev, Khas-Magomed Khadzhimuradov and Islam Alimsultanov in the republic.
One of the salesmen at the central market of Nazran says FSB officers came to them and threatened that if they sold cassettes with songs of the above-listed singers, all their goods would be seized and they would be made answerable as "confederates of illegal armed units."
