Night bombardment in Achkhoy-Martan district

From 11 to 13 February, highlands and woodlands lying in the southern part of the Achkhoy-Martan district in Chechnya were shelled from places where elements of federal forces were stationed. No victims among civilians have been reported. Locals believe the bombardment was a reaction to the terrorist act committed in the Moscow metro on 6 February 2004.
