Iran concerned with peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflict

Iran will make all efforts necessary to settle the Karabakh problem, announced Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohsun Eminzadeh while meeting with Azerbaijan President Ilkham Aliyev on January 16. "I am sure this conflict will be resolved on the basis of international law in the nearest future due to the efforts of countries and international organizations," said Mr. Eminzadeh. Ilkham Aliyev, in his turn, expressed thanks to the Government of Iran for the support it provides on the international level to Azerbaijan's stance on the Karabakh issue.
