In Rostov Region, person, suspected of destructing graves, detained

In the Rostov Region, staff members of the Inter-District Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) "Krasnosulinskiy" detained a man, suspected of vandalizing graves at the cemetery in the village of Vladimirovskaya.

Let us remind you that, according to the Prosecutor's Office of the Rostov Region, local residents appealed to the police and reported that at night of October 1, unidentified men damaged 13 gravestones. A criminal case was instituted under Article "Desecrating of bodies of deceased persons and burial places."

According to the police, they managed to reveal a suspect and detain him. They detained a 29-year-old resident of the village of Vladimirovskaya, who had earlier criminal records for possession of narcotic substances. The man had no permanent job, and he had only eventual income and used drugs.

According to police, the detainee said that he went to the cemetery to desecrated graves after he had used drugs (marijuana) and seven cans of alcoholic cocktail. This was reported by the website of the Chief Department of the UVD (Interior Department) in the Rostov Region.

The man, suspected of desecrating the graves, face arrest of up to three months, the "Vesti. Kavkaz" reports.
