HRW representative Mathilda Bogner familiarizes herself with media situation in Azerbaijan

Mathilda Bogner, a representative of the Human Rights Watch Moscow office, visited the capital of Azerbaijan Baku so as to familiarize herself with the media situation in the aftermath of the October 15 presidential election. She had meetings with directors of some media and journalistic organizations, as well as with journalists against whom the police used violence on October 15 and 16. The HRW representative's trip is to result in the report on the media situation in Azerbaijan in the aftermath of the presidential election.
