Irina Khakamada: Chechnya needs new president

Irina Khakamada, a candidate for the Russian presidency, believes Chechnya needs a new president. She told journalists about it at a press conference. "It is impossible to achieve peace in the republic with Akhmad Kadyrov," she said. Khakamada compared Kadyrov with a bomb, which Russia created itself. "Kadyrov will work for Putin for some time, and then he will shovel up all the resources and explode," she said. According to her, it is necessary to establish peace in Chechnya, "otherwise a generation brought up by war will grow up there."
