Case about fight at SC "Evropeisky" to be considered with jury

Olga Nikolenko, Judge of the Moscow City Court (MCC), has decided to hear the criminal case about the fight at the Shopping Centre (SC) "Evropeisky" in Moscow with participation of a jury.

Today, the MCC has held a closed preliminary hearing on the case.

A source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the defendant Rizvanov defendant had applied for consideration of the case by a jury. According to the parties, there are no grounds to reject the petition, said Oksana Mikhalkina, who represents the victims.

At the end of the hearing, Judge Olga Nikolenko granted the motion on the panel of jurymen; the selection of them is scheduled for April 16.

The MCC was attended by a large number of journalists.
