Armenian NSS mentions names of suspects of attempt on Paruir Airikyan
The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has mentioned names of the persons detained in the case of the attempt on Paruir Airikyan, a presidential candidate, Chairman of the association "National Self-Determination".
According to the information of the press centre of the NSS, Khachatur Pogosyan, who illegally lived in Yerevan and who was earlier sentenced for drug trafficking, and Samvel Arutyunyan were detained.
"The detainees have already given their testimonies, and investigators are revealing the motives of the crime," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Artsvin Bagramyan, the head of the press centre of the Armenian NSS.
The "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of the detainees or their representatives.
