ICRF identifies suspects of bombing store in Makhachkala
Makhmud Aliev, Gamzat Mutalimov, and Abumuslim Gasanov are suspected of the bombing of the store "24 Hours" in Makhachkala. This was reported by the press service of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) in Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the bomb planted at the store "24 Hours" located on the corner of Kotrov and Yaragsky Streets detonated at about 11:30 a.m. Moscow time on November 8. As a result of the explosion, a guard of the store was killed, and at least one person was injured. The organization "Ansaru ash-Sharia" claimed the responsibility for the attack by stating it used that way to fight against the spread of alcoholic beverages.
According to investigators, on November 8, three persons approached the store "24 Hours". One of them fired several shots at a 31-year-old guard, who stood near the entrance to the store. As a result, the man died in place. Then, the attackers entered the store, where one of them fired a shot from a firearm in the direction of a 24-year-old man at the counter and wounded him. The victim managed to escape from the attackers at the wareroom. The attackers planted an unidentified explosive device on the counter, activated it and fled. This was reported by the press service of the ICRF for Dagestan.
Officials from the ICRF have noted that the steps are being taken to detain the suspects.
It should be noted that, according to one of the versions, the bombing of the store could be caused by the owner's refusal to pay tribute to militants.
