Yabloko party in Krasnodar to stage demonstration against arbitrariness

The Krasnodar regional branch of the Russian Democratic Party Yabloko jointly with human rights and ecological organizations will stage a demonstration in Krasnodar on 1 May 2004. Leonid Teleleyko, chairman of the branch, reported that the action would be conducted within the framework of the all-Russian public campaign Civil Society Against Police State. In the course of it, activists will call upon citizens to take part in the actions against arbitrariness. Such demonstrations in defense of democracy, civil rights, and freedoms will take place in dozens of the country's regions that day.
