Children of Ingush refugees leave for USA to spend three months in American families

On July 19, five young Ingush girls from families of forced migrants left for the USA, where they will spend three months in American families, said Alikhan Akhilgov, the head of the NGO named "Help Foundation to Earlier Deported Nations".

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the cooperation of the above Foundation with the NGO "International Life Institute", within which children from refugees' families in Ingushetia and Chechnya went to the States to live in American families.

Alikhan Akhilgov, who accompanies the above Ingush girls in the new trip, has reported that at the New York Airport JFK (John F. Kennedy) they were met by activists of the "International Life Institute" and the members of the families, where the girls would live.

According to Akhilgov, during their stay in America, children will be taught English, computer skills, and taken to excursions.

All the accommodation and transportation costs in America are covered by the host country; while the funds for travel expenses from Ingushetia to Moscow, hotel fees and meals on the road were provided by Ingush entrepreneurs, said Akhilgov.
