Transcaucasian parliament speakers to discuss ways of resoling regional conflicts
Speakers of the Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijan parliaments are to meet in Strasbourg on May 17-19 and to discuss ways of resolving regional conflicts, in particular the Karabakh and Abkhazian ones, reported a source at the Georgian parliament.
They will also discuss other questions concerning trilateral cooperation. The meeting in Strasbourg is being held within the European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments. Georgia will be represented by Nino Burdjanadze, chair of the country's parliament.
