KBR resident convicted of aiding militants
The Baksan District Court of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has sentenced a resident of the Baksan District to 13 months in prison on charges of aiding militants.
Investigators have established that the 28-year-old local resident bought and delivered to members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) foodstuffs and other essential items, as well as ensured their secret residence.
Besides, grenades and ammunition were found in the man's house in the course of a search.
The above court has sentenced him to one year and one month in prison, the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" reports, referring to the press service of the republic's FSB department.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that on January 21, the Supreme Court of the KBR sentenced another local resident to three years in prison for aiding militants.
