Sergey Takoev resigns as North Ossetia's government head
Today, Sergey Takoev has resigned from his post as the head of the government of North Ossetia. He mentioned the resignation of North-Ossetian leader Taimuraz Mamsurov as a reason for his own resignation.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 5, the Russian President issued a decree to relieve Taimuraz Mamsurov, the leader of North Ossetia, of his post because of expiration of his term. Tamerlan Aguzarov was appointed the acting leader of North Ossetia. He was presented to the Parliament of North Ossetia, and he announced the resignation of the government of North Ossetia.
Today, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Prime Minister Sergey Takoev has announced his intention to resign from his post. He refused to associate his resignation with the incident of mass poisoning in the republic. First Deputy Prime Minister Azamat Khadikov was appointed the acting chairman of the government of North Ossetia, the "15th Region" reports.
