ICRF names KChR residents who are at war in Syria
16 residents of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), who left for Syria at different times, are suspected of involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs) in the territory of this country.
According to investigators, the persons now in Syria are: the 24-year-old Bineger Batchaev, the 32-year-old Arthur Kurchev, the 57-year-old Muayed Kyakov, the 29-year-old Movsur Selmurzaev, the 34-year-old Muslim Selmurzaev, the 41-year-old Enver Uzdenov, the 22-year-old Rustam Urusov, the 47 year-old Albert Bogatyryov, the 55-year-old Roka Kipkeev, the 25-year-old Taulan Saryev, the 43-year-old Issa Akbaev, the 53-year-old Vladimir Gochiyaev, the 25-year-old Mukhammat Chotchaev, the 34-year-old Ruslan Izhaev, the 35-year-old Rasul Semyonov and the 32-year-old Magomet Khubiev. All of them, at different times, used the flight "Mineralnye Vody-Istanbul" to reach Turkey; from where they got to Syria; and since November 2013 they have been taking part in military operations against the armed forces of Syria, investigators assert.
According to their data, these persons had taken, in order to carry out terrorist activities in Syria, their physical, tactical and combat training, in using firearms and explosives at the militants' training camp "Adam Muaskar" near the city of Atma.
Now, investigators check all the above suspects for their involvement in the commission of crimes in the territory of the Russian Federation, says the website "News of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation".
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that natives of the republics of Northern Caucasus of Russia are joining the ranks of militants fighting in Syria.
Various sources, including the Russian FSB, have confirmed that militants from Russia are fighting for the "Islamic State", says the document prepared by the "Caucasian Knot": "Caucasians in the ranks of IS (ISIL)".
