Court arrests native of Chechnya on charge of plotting terror act in Moscow
Aslan Baisultanov, a native of Grozny, will be kept at a temporary detention facility until the completion of the preliminary investigation into the case on the organization of a terror act in Moscow. This decision was made by the Judge of the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the Court is to pronounce the pre-trial restriction measures for three persons, detained on October 11 and suspected of plotting a terror act. According to law enforcers, the detainees were trained in Syria in camps of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS, earlier ISIL) recognized in Russia as illegal.
Judge Elena Galikhanova has pronounced the decision with regard to Aslan Baisultanov, the first suspect, and thereby granted the motion of the investigating authorities to take the native of Grozny into custody.
"To take Baisultanov into custody until December 12, 2015. On October 12, 2015, a criminal case was instituted against Baisultanov and other persons, which is under consideration at the Russian FSB Department for the Chechen Republic," announced the Judge. She has noted that Aslan Baisultanov was detained on suspicion of committing a particularly serious terrorist crime.
