The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 31, during the special operation carried out in the territory of the indoor market in Nazran, law enforcers killed Beslan Makhauri, the leader of the Ingush militants, and Ilyas Vedzizhev, the leader of the "Nazran" criminal grouping. It was reported that Leyla Chemurzieva was wounded in the course of the special operation. According to the National Antiterrorist Operation (NAC), the woman played the role of communication agent for the militants.
"The mother of Leyla Chemurzieva has appealed to human rights defenders in an attempt to prove that her daughter is 'white and innocent' and that she is in no way guilty. In fact, Leyla Chemurzieva was detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting members of an illegal armed formation (IAF)," stated a source from the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The source has also emphasized that, according to the preliminary version, Leyla Chemurzieva brought Beslan Makhauri and Ilyas Vedzizhev to the indoor market, and she was to pick them up after a while.
It should be noted that the mother of Leyla Chemurzieva has appealed to the Ingush authorities, the Prosecutor's Office, and human rights defenders with a request to prevent the violation of her daughter's rights. This was written by Magomed Mutsolgov, the leader of the human rights organization "Mashr", in his blog on the "Caucasian Knot".
