CTO regime cancelled in Khunzakh District of Dagestan
The legal regime of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the Khunzakh District was cancelled today at 8:30 p.m. Moscow time.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 11 the CTO regime was introduced in the Khunzakh and Botlikh Districts of Dagestan. In the shootout in the village of Orota, Khunzakh District, two people were killed. A source from the MIA of Dagestan said that the victims were former power agents. The NAC said that the casualties had been involved in the murder of the Imam.
On the fact of the shootout that broke out in the Khunzakh District, a criminal case was opened under Article 317 of the Russian Criminal Code (attempt on the life of a law enforcer) and Part 2, Article 222 (illegal circulation of arms, committed by a group of persons), the "Interfax" reports referring to the operative headquarters in Dagestan.
