Residents of Dagestan insulted by photos of Dagestani girl from "Miss Russia" contest
Users of social networks have criticized Albina Ildarova, a 21-year-old resident of Dagestan, who takes part in the "Miss Russia-2016" contest, for her photos in a swimsuit. According to the experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", the girl "had ignored the norms of decency, common for Dagestan."
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 29, it became known that young women from the North-Caucasian republics, including Dagestan, North Ossetia, and Kabardino-Balkaria, for the first time took part in the "Miss Russia" contest and found themselves among the finalists. Dagestan is represented by Albina Ildarova, a 21-year-old student.
The Dagestani student has been criticized in social networks for her photos in a swimsuit made for the official website of the "Miss Russia" contest.
The majority of comments are sharply negative. "The daughters like that should be buried alive," wrote one of the users of the social network "VKontakte". "Let's raise money to pay for a killer", "And earlier, girls from Dagestan were famous for their modest behaviour", "What do her parents do? She should be at least killed for such an act," wrote other users of the social network.
In the comments, some people are trying to protect the Dagestani girl and note that she "deserves to be respected for her courage" and "has done nothing criminal." Furthermore, some users said that "it is time for Dagestan to leave the Middle Ages behind."
Earlier, the majority of residents of Dagestan interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" have expressed negative attitude towards beauty contests. Meanwhile, those of them who react positively have noted that Caucasian women should not demonstrate themselves on public when dressed in swimsuits.
