Car blown up at religious figure’s house in Ingushetia

In Nazran, a bomb has exploded under a car, parked near the house of a religious leader Ibragim Belkharoev.

According to the police, the incident occurred in Oskanov Street.

"The explosion has caused no casualties or victims, but the car was significantly damaged," the "Interfax-South" quotes its local law enforcement source.

According to preliminary data, the exploded SUV Mercedes belonged to one of the Ingush religious leaders.

At the moment of the explosion, there was no one in the car, parked next to the private house, where Belkharoev lives, the TASS reports referring to law enforcement bodies.

Belkharoev himself has treated the explosion as an assassination attempt on him, saying that this was the second attempt on his life, the “Life.ru” reports.
