Sergey Bachurin appointed Chief of MIA's Department for NCFD
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to appoint Police Major General Sergey Bachurin the head of the Chief Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The decree was published on the website of legal information.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since May 2010, the MIA's Chief Department for the NCFD was led by Lieutenant-General Sergey Chenchik.
Earlier, on May 20, Vladimir Putin signed the decree to appoint Sergey Chenchik the head of the Chief Headquarters of the National Guard Troops and the First Deputy Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops, reports the website of the MIA's Department for the NCFD.
It is also noted that in 2011, Sergey Bachurin worked as the Deputy Police Chief of the MIA's Chief Department for the Krasnodar Territory, and in 2013, he was appointed the head of the MIA's Department for the Kaluga Region.
