IS message becomes thirteenth report on death of Umar al-Shishani
Prior to the report of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia, on the death of Abu Umar al-Shishani (Tarkhan Batirashvili), one of its leader, various sources reported on his death at least twelve times. However, this is the first time when the report is made by the very militants.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 13, the IS reported on the death of Umar al-Shishani in the Iraqi town of Shirkat. The exact date of his death is not disclosed.
Umar al-Shishani was killed in the combat actions near the town of Shirkat south of Mosul, the Russian BBC Service reports with reference to an agency supporting Syrian militants.
