Four policemen still held hostage in Yerevan

Supporters of the "Constituent Parliament", who on July 17 seized the building of the regiment of the patrol-and-security service of the Police of Armenia in Yerevan, continue holding four police officers hostage.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning of July 17, supporters of the "Constituent Parliament" seized the building of the regiment of the patrol-and-security service in Yerevan. During the seizure, one policeman was killed, and six others were wounded. The negotiations are underway. At night, more than 200 people came in Khorenatsi Street. They have announced their intention to spend the night near the cordon to prevent the assault.

Policemen are on duty at the place. Khorenatsi Street in the Erebuni District of Yerevan is still cordoned off. The night passed without incidents, while about 20 activists spent the night near the cordoned-off regiment building, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
