Tamerlan Eskerkhanov's advocates suggest version of SBU's involvement in Boris Nemtsov's murder

Magomed Vakhaev, a State Duma deputy from Chechnya, has appealed to Yuri Chaika, General Prosecutor of Russia, with a request to check the version suggested by advocates of Tamerlan Eskerkhanov. According to the advocates, the murder of Boris Nemtsov involves the Security Service of Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Boris Nemtsov was killed in Moscow on February 27, 2015. In the criminal case, law enforcers detained five natives of Chechnya and Ingushetia, including Zaur Dadaev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, Anzor Gubashev, and Shagid Gubashev. All of them plead not guilty. The criminal case also involves Ruslan Mukhudinov, Ruslan Geremeev, and Beslan Shavanov, who was killed during detention. The investigators treat Ruslan Mukhudinov as a person who ordered and organized the assassination of the politician. Law enforcers put Ruslan Mukhudinov on the international wanted list, and the investigation into the criminal case against him was formed as separate criminal proceedings.

Magomed Vakhaev, a deputy from Chechnya, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for Security and Anti-Corruption, has sent an official appeal to Yuri Chaika, General Prosecutor of Russia. In his appeal, Magomed Vakhaev has reported on receipt of the letters from the advocates of Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.

According to the Tamerlan Eskerkhanov's defenders, for the purposes of objective investigation into the murder of Boris Nemtsov it’s important to verify information placed in the media "concerning the possible involvement in the crime of the Security Service of Ukraine." According to the above publications, the murder "was committed by firearm, which was redesigned from mass-and-dimension models and non-military samples of weapons, smuggled from Ukraine," reports the "TASS".
