CTO legal regime in Andi village cancelled

Today, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has cancelled the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime introduced in the Dagestani village of Andi on August 11.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 11, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the territory of the village of Andi in the Botlikh District. Four militants were killed during a special operation, including Shamil Gadjiev, the suspected leader of the mountainous sector of militants.

"At 11:00 a.m. Moscow time, the CTO legal regime was cancelled in connection with the completion of all operational activities," the "TASS" quotes a staff member of the Operative Headquarters of the NAC for Dagestan as reporting.

It should be noted that the CTO legal regime in the village of Andi was introduced for the third time since the beginning of 2016.
