Two members of "tractor march" fined in Aksai

The Aksai District Court of the Rostov Region has found Ivan Smykov and Vladimir Nemtsov, participants of the "tractor march", guilty of violating the order of holding public events.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 21, farmers of the Krasnodar Territory started a tractor run to draw the authorities' attention to the raiders' seizures of land plots in the region. On August 22, the participants of the tractor run were blocked by the police in the Aksai District of the Rostov Region, and on August 23, they were detained.

According to Olga Golubyatnikova, a member of the Public Monitoring Commission (PMC) for the Krasnodar Territory, who represents the interests of Vladimir Nemtsov, today she has been "refused in examination of the case materials."

The PMC member has also noted that during the hearing, the Court has dismissed her motions to question witnesses and view the videos from the scene.

Olga Golubyatnikova has emphasized that "Vladimir Nemtsov is not a farmer, but a builder of Olympic facilities." "He was cheated concerning his wages, and he wanted to complain to the authorities about that," said Olga Golubyatnikova.

She has also noticed that Vladimir Nemtsov "suffers from diabetes and that at night, an ambulance was called for him to the police station."
