CTO legal regime introduced in Dagestani village of Izberbash

Today, in the Dagestani town of Izberbash, law enforcers have cordoned off the house, which, according to their information, could hide members of illegal armed formations (IAFs), involved in the attack on the police in August. The counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 12, inspectors of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) were shelled in the vicinity of Izberbash. Two policemen were killed. Five suspects were included in the wanted list.

"During the operational activities, law enforcers have identified the address where the militants involved in the murder of the DPS inspectors may be hiding... At present, the information concerning the presence of militants in the house and the number is under verification," the "TASS" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan as reporting.
