In Quarter 3 of 2016, 3 persons fell victims to armed conflict in Kabardino-Balkaria

In July-September of 2016, there was information about three victims of the armed conflict in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria These are the findings of the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Three alleged members of armed underground perished in August in the course of armed clashes and counterterrorist operation. There was no information on any victims on the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria in July and September of 2016.

The above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the real number of victims. Not all the data gets into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the truthfulness of law enforcers' statements; and sometimes new data about the events of the reporting period become known after the publication of statistics by the "Caucasian Knot".

In Quarter 2 of 2016, Kabardino-Balkaria had no victims of the armed conflict.

In 2015, at least 48 people fell victim the armed conflict in Kabardino-Balkaria, 47 of them were killed and one person was wounded.
