Five persons killed in CTO in Makhachkala

Power agents killed five militants during a counterterrorist operation (CTO), held in the settlement of Talgi in Makhachkala, says a Dagestani law enforcement source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today at 11:00 a.m. Moscow time, the settlement of Talgi, Leninsky District of Makhachkala, was put under the CTO regime.

According to the source, "in the course of the CTO, power agents killed five militants." "Their persons are now being identified," the RIA "Dagestan" adds citing the source.

In his turn, another law enforcement source said that "in the CTO zone, several armed clashes took place." According to his story, "during the clashes, up to five militants were killed."
