Detentions

On December 7, three residents of North Ossetia were detained for illegal manufacture and sale of weapons. Law enforcers contacted a suspect and arranged a meeting on the outskirts of the village of Zmeiskaya with the purpose of purchasing a combat pistol, home-remodelled from a signal pistol. Arms traffickers were two residents of the village of Elkhotovo, one of whom had several earlier criminal records. Besides, policemen searched a house where they discovered an artisan workshop arranged to make combat arms from civilian weapons.
