All casualties of CTO in Grozny identified

The four persons killed in Grozny on December 18 have been identified. All of them took part in killing policemen in the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny, said a local law enforcement source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on December 17, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in Grozny. Power agents reported that four militants had been killed in a shootout, and two others were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. In the afternoon on December 18, they blocked a private house in an outskirt of Grozny. According to power agents, three militants were killed there, and two others were detained. Thus, in total, during two days, seven militants were killed, and four others were detained, three of them were wounded. Four policemen were also killed; and one policeman was wounded. In the morning on December 18 it was announced that Islam Altemirov, Said-Ibragim Ismailov and Magomed Ilyasov were killed in the night shootout.

"Yesterday, in the afternoon, in the vicinity of Andreevskaya Dolina settlement, a group of militants, involved in the murder of two policemen in the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny, was found. In the course of a special operation, four bandits were killed, namely: Ibragim Mazhaev, Khamatkhan Mintaev, Istamul Mamaev and Akhmad Akrashev," a local law enforcement source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The source has added that the leader of the militant grouping, in which the killed bandits were members, is Sajd-Ibragim Ismailov. According to the source, Ismailov had been recruited and subordinated to a certain Al-Bari, who is allegedly in Syria and gave orders through the Internet, the "Interfax" reports.
