"Caucasus. Realities" reports unknown details of CTO in Grozny

One of residents of Chechnya, who was declared killed in the recent counterterrorist operation (CTO) in Grozny, was shot in the yard of his house, the portal "Caucasus. Realities" reports with reference to its sources in the republic.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 17, attacks on policemen were committed in different districts of Grozny, and after that the CTO legal regime was introduced in the city. According to the law enforcement authorities, during the special operation, continued on December 18, seven suspected militants were killed and four others were detained. On December 19, the "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia by court and recognized as a terrorist organization, claimed responsibility for the attacks in Grozny.

One of the militants declared killed was initially detained at his house in the countryside and then beaten and shot dead in the courtyard, the portal "Caucasus. Realities" reports in its article of December 21, without specifying its sources. Later, the body of the killed man was shown on TV as a corpse of a "man involved in an armed clash on the outskirts of Grozny," the article reports.

Till present, no other sources have confirmed or denied the information.
