In Dagestan, relatives of local resident complain about his kidnapping

Today, Umakhan Umakhanov, a resident of the village of Kokrek of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, has been kidnapped by armed men in masks. This was reported to the "Caucasian Knot" by relatives of the kidnapped man.

According to Ekaterina Voronina, in the morning, armed men in masks drove her husband Umakhan Umakhanov, born in 1987, away with them to some unknown destination.

The woman has noted that her husband was put on a police prevention registration list, but had not been detained earlier.

In turn, an official from the Khasavyurt ROVD (District Interior Division) has reported that "Umakhan Umakhanov is not among the detainees kept at the ROVD."
