Three persons killed in CTO in Khasavyurt

Today, at 8:20 a.m., the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in Khasavyurt. Law enforcers cordoned off a private house in Khasavyurt, in which militants were hiding. The militants refused to lay down their weapons, and then law enforcers began storming the house. This was reported by a source from the Dagestani law enforcement bodies.

"According to the preliminary information, three militants were killed. The house where the militants were hiding was almost burned down," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the "Interfax".

According to another source from the law enforcement bodies, law enforcers "made a decision to destroy the house with the use of an armoured carrier," the "Life" reports.

The source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan reports that law enforcers are engaged in identification of the militants killed in Khasavyurt.
