People from Krasnodar residential district demand to build schools and hospitals

On February 4, in Krasnodar, people from the "Vostochno-Kruglikovsky" residential district held a picket. They demanded to start construction of social infrastructure in their residential district, promised by the developer during sale of apartments in the residential complex.

"The picket was held in front of the fence of parking, which was illegally organized by the developer in the area of public green spaces and which raised the people's indignation," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Alexei Voloschuk, the leader of the initiative group of tenants of the residential complex.

According to the organizers of the protest action, no officials from the city administration attended the picket.

"The people are tired of the fact that the entire infrastructure which was promised during the sale of apartments has not yet been constructed," noted Alexei Voloschuk.

According to him, the protesters have also raised the issue of creation of the "Park of Heroes" in the residential district, earlier discussed with the Governor, who in 2015 "supported the proposal and instructed his administration to work it out, but his instruction was never fulfilled."

The picketers have signed a resolution and intend to hand it over to the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory and the Krasnodar Mayor. The demands mentioned in the resolution include removal of parking lots from the area of public green spaces, holding of an independent examination for the reason of exclusion of social objects from the project of the residential district, and creation of the "Park of Heroes". The demand of the protestors is to organize within 30 days a meeting with the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory and the Krasnodar Mayor with people from the "Vostochno-Kruglikovsky" residential district.
