The court of appeal upheld the verdict against Alexei Mandrigelya, a Krasnodar activist, who was sentenced to 10 days of arrest for a publication in a social network. This was announced by his advocate.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 9, Alexei Mandrigelya, an activist from Krasnodar, accused of public demonstration of Nazi symbols for posting in a social network a photo collage picturing Vladimir Putin against the swastika, was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.
Blogger Alexei Mandrigelya regularly takes part in protest actions in Krasnodar. He also participated in "Russian Marches" held in the city. In September 2014, Alexei Mandrigelya was attacked by two men. According to him, they were natives of the Caucasus.
Alexei Mandrigelya himself has asked to ensure his presence at the trial. However, the activist was not brought to the courtroom, and no video communication with him was also arranged, reports his advocate.
