150 volunteers take part in opening of the Astrakhan Navalny’s office

Today, in Astrakhan, Leonid Volkov, the head of the electoral office of Alexei Navalny, has announced the opening of the local branch of the office. According to his story, in total 77 such offices will be opened in 65 regions of Russia.

“To become a presidential candidate, in the period from January 5 to January 20, 2018, Navalny will have to collect 300,000 signatures throughout the country," Mr Volkov has added.

He has noted that the website of Alexei Navalny "has registered 1500 residents of Astrakhan, who decided to support the politician." According to Leonid Volkov, over 300 volunteers have been registered at the Navalny’s Astrakhan office.

“Today, according to our estimates, about 150 persons were present at the meeting. Our experience shows that when Alexei himself arrives to open an office, much more people usually come," Volkov said.

He reminded that Alexei Navalny was unable to come to Astrakhan today, since in Moscow hooligans poured brilliant green on him, and he got an eye burn. "However, it is important that our opponents see that they can’t stop us; and the work of opening offices continues," Leonid Volkov has concluded.
