Arsen Akhmedov, missing resident of Makhachkala, returns home

The young man, whose kidnapping was reported by his relatives four days ago, has returned home and is OK, Arsen Akhmedov's father told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 18, relatives of the 26-year-old Arsen Akhmedov said that unidentified armed men in masks kidnapped the young man, when he went to receive his passport for travels abroad.

Abdulbasyr Akhmedov, his father, refused to tell the details of his son's kidnapping, just saying that Arsen was already at home and "does not want too much publicity."

According to the eyewitness, two black "Priora" cars drove up to the young man; people jumped out, captured Arsen and threw him into one of the cars. One of the kidnappers got into Arsen's car (a white "Toyota Camry"); and they all left for some unknown place. Relatives unsuccessfully searched for the young man at the police departments of Makhachkala, and then lodged an application about the kidnapping.
