Idris Abzagirov's relatives demand clear information about his fate
No information on the whereabouts of Idris Abzagirov, a resident of the Dagestani village of Korkmaskala, is available since April 11, his relatives assert. According to their story, investigators allude that Abzagirov was in the car burned out after the shootout, but "they say nothing directly."
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 11, law enforcers announced a shelling of a passenger car near the village of Tyube in the Kumtorkalin District. According to their version, three attackers were killed, and the car was burnt down. Three dead bodies were found in it.
One of the casualties was identified as Ilyas Khalilov, the leader of the "Makhachkala" grouping of militants, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported.
A female relative of Idris Abzagirov said that DNA samples were taken from them; however, there are still no results of the examination.
She added that Zagir Arslanov's relatives have already received DNA analysis results, which confirmed that he was in the burned-down car; they received his body and buried it.
According to rights defenders, for several years already, law enforcers have been fabricating cases against kidnapped Dagestani residents. They explain people's disappearance by their departure "to the forest"; then, they initiate criminal cases, which are stopped because of suspects' deaths in clashes with power agents, or in self-explosions.
