Missing resident of Dagestan found at police station

Rashid Abdurakhmanov, a resident of the Dagestani village of Chervleny Buruny, whose disappearance after detention was reported by his relatives, is at the police station. This was reported by Rashid's wife.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that relatives announced Abdurakhmanov's disappearance on June 13, on the eve of the Congress of the Nogai People.

According to relatives, they were told by the police that Abdurakhmanov had been detained for three days for petty hooliganism.

However, his brother believes that Rashid was detained because of the Congress. He emphasized that Rashid "was not an activist of any public organization."

"He is an ordinary worker and a family man; he had no intent to speak at the Congress," said his brother.
