Three grenades thrown into of policeman's house in Dagestan
Two grenades out of three exploded in the yard of the house of Rustam Abdurakhmanov, a former chief of the Buynaksk ROVD (District Interior Division). Together with grenades, a note with threats was thrown into the yard, said a law enforcement source.
The incident occurred at night on June 19, in Amet-Khan Sultan Avenue in Makhachkala, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan. At about 3:00 a.m. Moscow time, the attacker threw three grenades into the yard of policeman's house, and then disappeared in a car.
"Two grenades exploded; there are no casualties and victims," said the source.
The MIA failed to name the policeman. According to the source, the owner of the house is not a former high-ranking policeman, but ordinary district one.
However, according to another source, the incident occurred in the village of Korkmaskala in the Kumtorkalin District in the yard of Rustam Abdurakhmanov, a former chief of the Buynaksk ROVD.
Abdurakhmanov, who is now acting as a senior district policeman for the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, was not harmed.
Together with grenades, a note with threats was thrown into the yard of Lieutenant Colonel Abdurakhmanov. "The next one will go into your bedroom. Calm down!" the "Life" quotes the note.
