Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of using mortar launchers and machine guns

At night on June 23, the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire regime 117 times in various directions of the front. This has been reported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD).

The shelling was conducted from the nameless heights of the Noyemberyan and Krasnoselsky Districts and from the villages of Berdsk and Ijevan Districts. The positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces were also shelled from the Terter, Agdam, Khodjavend, Fizuli, Jebrail and Goranboy Districts, the Azerbaijani MoD reports.

Meanwhile, the Armenian armed forces used heavy machine guns and 60-mm mortar launchers (1 shell), reports today the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.

The Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh did not comment on the Azerbaijani side's statement.
