Azerbaijani soldier killed in Karabakh conflict zone

This morning, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has accused the Armenian side of 140 violations of the ceasefire. According to the Azerbaijani MoD, not only the combat positions, but four villages were also subjected to intensive bombardment, civilian objects, crops and personal property of local residents were also affected by shelling.

"Lieutenant Akbkerli Gusein Zakir ogly, a serviceman of the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was killed when suppressing the enemy fire," reports today the Azerbaijani MoD.

Till present, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on the statement.
