"Krasnodar" football player apologizes to Rodolfo for insult
On August 10, during a football match in Grozny, a clash occurred between Pavel Mamaev, a player from the "Krasnodar" FC, and Rodolfo, a player from the "Akhmat" FC. The conflict provoked a clash during the break and was exhausted after Pavel Mamaev apologized to Rodolfo.
The match between the "Krasnodar" FC and the "Akhmat" FC from Grozny of the Russian Football Premier League ended with a score of 3: 2.
The conflict was reported by TV commentator Pavel Zanozin in his Twitter.
According to Adam Zubairaev, a journalist from Chechnya, the clash was provoked by the racist remarks voiced by Pavel Mamaev with regard to Rodolfo.
Pavel Mamaev apologized to the Brazilian football player after the match. A referee decided not to reflect the incident in the match minutes.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported about a mass fight which occurred in Krasnodar on May 1 and involved more than 20 fans of the "Krasnodar" and "Anji" FCs. Several people were detained, while others fled. According to the Dagestani fans, the fight was started because of offensive remarks addressed to their favourites. The Krasnodar fans announced the provocation from the fans of the "Anji" FC.
