Yunus-Bek Evkurov calls house in Psedakh the last base of Ingush militants

The Ingush leader has stated if investigators confirm the men killed in the village Psedakh were members of the Malgobek militant grouping, then it is possible to talk about the victory of the law enforcement agencies over organizations of militants in Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 23, four suspected militants were killed in the village of Psedakh, including Bekkhan Soltukiev, the leader of the Malgobek grouping of militants, and its members Mikail Cherbizhev and Khasan Khatsiev. Today, the investigators have appointed a genetic examination to determine the number of killed militants and to identify them.

"If it turns out that the law enforcers destroyed the militant grouping led by Bekkhan Soltukiev ... then it can be argued that the organized armed underground in the republic is over," said the Ingush leader.

He has explained that earlier, in Ingushetia, the Nazran and Malgobek groupings of militant were active.
