A soldier blown up on a mine in Nagorno-Karabakh

Today, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh has reported that 19-year-old Hayk Khachatryan got a fatal wound in a mine explosion.

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD, the incident has occurred today at about 11:50 a.m. local time.

"Soldier Hayk Gagikovich Khachatryan, born in 1998, got a fatal wound as a result of a mine explosion at one of the defensive sections of the Defence Army stationed in the eastern direction," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by the spokesman for the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD.

According to him, "an investigation is underway to find out the circumstances of the incident."
